Should Social Media Censor Offensive Content?

What do you think?

This comes from an article on WebProNews that I read today. Apparently a Twitter hashtag that was trending was offensive to some people, although it was supposed to be more of a comical thing.

Google Discussion Forum

Same IP Address

Ok, so someone the other day who wanted to trade links with me told me that he can't add (or shouldn't) all of my domains to his one page b/c most of them have the same IP address.

Is that true that it doesn't help me (or him) if that's done & I should only pick one domain out of the entire list?

I'd break up the domains, but I'm already paying for 6 IP addresses & I can't afford to pay for more. They are just too expensive these days.

Use sub-domain to transition old site to new?

I'm starting the process of changing over an existing website to a new domain (301 redirect), and I'm trying to decide where to temporarily locate the "new" site -- at least until such time that the search engines have indexed the new urls, and I can take down the old pages.

My web host suggested that I create a sub-domain on the old domain site, and just build the new pages there. I guess the idea is that after I'm done building the new site, I could somehow switch it over to being the primary domain.

Google Discussion Forum

The Green ticks next to search results in Google

Can someone please explain why when I conduct a search in Google there are now a line of green ticks to the right of the results.. Doing some basic research this seems to be something Google has introduced to say that a site is 'Safe' or not.

However if I search for my site then I am not getting the green ticks! Surely that is therefore hurting me - or at least it is worrying!

Can you guys please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix the situation.

All help most appreciated.

Hey there! Has everyone recovered from the weekend yet?

My weekend went just as planned... a trip to the lake! It was fun! I got the biggest catfish of the day and therefore teased everyone else about it the whole time. :)

Here is a picture of it... (kind of an ugly fish!) And this was the one my boyfriend caught. A lot smaller, although it was a much pretty fish! Haha

So that's what I did this past weekend. What did you do? Anything fun?

Seo Is Working But Sales Are Going Down. What Is The Reason?

Hello everybody! From this last year, seo has been done by an SEO company for my website http://www.monarch-garments.com. For various keywords they have shown us that our page rank has increased. They told me that they have added more than 10000 backlinks, but I've argue with them that when I was not doing any seo I was getting more sales than what I am getting now. It has been reduced by 50%.

They are helpless and are not able to answer what is going wrong. I am helpless also. Can anybody help me out?

Microsoft Adcenter keywords not showing up in Analytics

I know there is probably a simple solution to this, but the phrases I'm targeting with my Microsoft Adcenter campaigns aren't showing up in my analytics. For example over the last month I had 10 people click on an Adcenter ad using the phrase red widgets. Yet, in my analytics, red widgets doesn't show up in keywords generating traffic to the site. What do I need to do so I have this information. If there is a previous thread related to this topic, please let me know.
